Absztrakt (kivonat)

I spent my internship at the Nagycenk branch of Unser Lagerhaus Kft. In my thesis I tried to give a complete picture of the company and its operations, supported by relevant literature. I start my final thesis with the theory of logistics and transport, describing the modes of freight transport and the advantages and disadvantages of road transport. I will present the regulations for the transport of bulk goods, including the transport of cereals and oilseeds. I will conclude the literature with a description of the EKÁER and HU-GO systems and an illustration of the factors that influence crop volumes and prices. I will describe the investment operations of Unser Lagerhaus Kft. since its foundation in 2003 and the ongoing ones in the next section of my thesis. The company's main activity is grain trading, and it is managed by a dual board of directors: János Mitnyik from Hungary and Martin Neuberger from Austria. I will also describe the employee positions in the plants and their respective duties and responsibilities. The knowledge and observations related to the title of my thesis, acquired and experienced at Unser Lagerhaus Kft. are presented in Chapter 5. Firstly, I will discuss the groups of input materials required for the products in terms of packaging, batching and storage. I then explain the post-harvest delivery of the cereals and oilseeds already pro-duced and the process of crop reception. I also explain the contracting options for farmers. The quality categories used for crop acceptance, the equipment used for grading, the weighing process and the weighing programme are described. The process of onsite entry and intersite movement is mentioned. I will then continue with an explanation of the sales side. In this case, a contract is always required, after which the transport arrangements and the actual removal can be made. This is followed by the invoicing under the contract. In the last part of my thesis, I will deal with the topic of sustainable agriculture, presenting the BIONYOM and ISCC systems from the point of view of Unser Lagerhaus Kft. as a trader. Finally, I will conclude with my conclusions on the logistical challenges I have encountered in my field and my recommendations for small investments.
