This study explores the characteristics of an inclusive primary school environment in a county-level urban setting, with a particular focus on parental satisfaction, student well-being, and the effects of school transfer. The research is grounded in both practical pedagogical experience and relevant psychological theories, emphasising the interaction between the individual and their environment. The study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of how parents perceive the school, how students experience their well-being, and how a change of school influences both students and their families. Data were collected through a questionnaire survey that combined quantitative and qualitative methods to analyse parental attitudes and experiences. The findings confirm that the majority of parents are satisfied with the school’s daily functioning and their children’s well-being. Students generally have a positive attitude toward the school and feel safe and accepted within the learning environment. The results also indicate a high level of parental acceptance of inclusive education practices. Furthermore, the study highlights that students who transferred from other schools experienced significant improvements in their school-related attitudes and overall well-being. These positive changes also extended to their families, reducing stress and improving daily life. The findings suggest that while school transfer alone does not guarantee improvement, a supportive, inclusive and child-centred environment plays a crucial role in facilitating positive outcomes. The study concludes that successful inclusion is a complex process that depends not only on structural conditions but also on the quality of human relationships, professional collaboration, and pedagogical attitudes. The results underline the importance of a safe, accepting and supportive school environment in promoting student development and well-being.
