Absztrakt (kivonat)

The aim of my research was to compare the sport performance of disadvantaged and non-disadvantaged students aged 10–14. Regular physical activity plays a crucial role in children’s physical, psychological, and social development; however, opportunities for participation in sports are often influenced by social background. In my study, a total of 60 students participated, including 30 disadvantaged and 30 non-disadvantaged children. The investigation focused on three main areas: running, medicine ball throwing, and endurance performance. These tasks were used to assess key motor skills such as speed, strength, and stamina. The results of my research indicate that non-disadvantaged students generally performed better in the examined physical tasks. This difference can be explained by more favorable social conditions and greater access to sports opportunities. At the same time, the findings highlight the importance of providing equal opportunities and targeted support for disadvantaged students in order to improve their physical performance. Overall, my research confirms that social differences are reflected in children’s sport performance, emphasizing the need for inclusive and supportive educational practices.
