Absztrakt (kivonat)

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) demand that education systems cultivate skills such as systems thinking and action competence. Project-Based Learning (PBL) is very frequently recommended as an attractive method of instruction for this purpose. Nevertheless, there's quite a bit we don't know about the quality of the guidance materials that teachers really get to implement PBL for the SDGs. This study executed a qualitative document analysis of 25 curriculum frameworks, PBL project plans, and SDG teaching toolkits published between 2015 and 2024. Our analysis looked at the representation of PBL principles, the extent of SDG integration, and the strengths and shortcomings across the entire set of documents. The findings show a quite fragmented landscape. Although international frameworks very closely connect PBL with Education for Sustainable Development, this correspondence isn't consistently expressed in real-world resources. Most documents still stay at awareness or competency levels, not many achieve truly transformative engagement. A noticeable assessment gap exists across all kinds of documents, and information on teacher support and local adaptation is insufficient too. This study maps the current guidance landscape, identifies critical gaps, and even offers recommendations for improving resources for educators.
