Absztrakt (kivonat)

Szakdolgozatomban a filmturizmus jellemzőinek és feltételeinek elemzésére törekedtem, emellett pedig bemutattam a Harry Potter filmsorozat filmturizmusban betöltött szerepét is. A kulturális turizmus kategóriájába tartozó filmturizmusnak egyre nagyobb jelentőségé van napjainkban a turizmus ágazatai között. A filmturisztikai helyszínek sikerességét az bizonyítja a legjobban, hogy megfelelő turisztikai lehetőségként szolgál az élménykereső turisták számára. Az elemzés során ismertetem a filmturizmus alapvető jellemzőit, valamint igyekszem feltérképezni az általa kiváltott pozitív és negatív hatásokat. Emellett pedig kitérek a film-turisztikai kereslet és kínálat ismertetésre, továbbá a filmturisták bemutatására a téma széleskörű átlátásának érdekében. Dolgozatom középpontjában a Harry Potter és a filmturizmus kapcsolata áll. A kutatás arra keresi a választ, hogy a filmsorozat és az általa kiváltott filmturizmus még több mint 20 év elteltével is népszerűségnek örvend e, valamint, hogy az utazók motivációt éreznek e a Harry Potterhez köthető forgatási helyszínek, a tematikus parkok továbbá kiállítások felkeresésére és megtekintésére. A kutatásomban meghatározó szerepet kapott a Harry Potterhez kötődő filmforgatási helyszínek összegyűjtése országonként csoportosítva, annak érdekében, hogy minél átfogóbb képet kapjak a témára épülő turisztikai termékekből. A forgatási helyszínek bemutatása mellett egy külön fejezetet szenteltem a Harry Potter filmek ikonikusságát kihasználó tematikus parkoknak és a nagysikerű vándorkiállításnak. A szakdolgozat sikerességének érdekében nélkülözhetetlen volt primer kutatás alkalmazása is, amellyel megismerhettem, hogy az emberek és az utazási irodák hogyan vélekednek erről a témáról. Az általam készített kérdőívet 300 személyhez juttattam el, ezáltal pedig véleményem szerint kellően feltérképeztem, hogy napjainkban, hogy viszonyulnak az emberek a Harry Potterhez és a hozzá kötődő filmturizmushoz. Az interjúkat abból a célból készítettem el, hogy betekintést nyerjek az utazási irodák tapasztalataiba a Harry Potter tematikájú utazási ajánlatok népszerűségét és ismertségét illetően. Összefoglalva elmondható, hogy a Harry Potter filmsorozat és a rá épülő filmturizmus, továbbá a jellegzetességét kihasználó turisztikai termékek kimagaslónak számítanak napjaink turizmusában és a filmsorozat sokszínűsége miatt még szinte biztos, hogy a jövőben is kamatoztatni fogja elsöprő sikerét, hiszen mindig lesznek olyan rajongók, akik filmturistaként felkeresik majd kedvenc filmjük varázslatos helyszíneit. In my thesis, I tried to analyze the characteristics and circumstances of film tourism, rather I presented the role of the Harry Potter film series in film tourism. Film tourism, which belongs to the category of cultural tourism, plays an increasingly important role among the tourism sectors these days. The success of film tourism locations is mostly proven by the fact that they serve as suitable tourist opportunities for tourists seeking experiences. During the analysis, I describe the basic characteristics of film tourism and I try to map the positive and negative effects it causes. In addition I will discuss the demand and supply of film tourism, as well as the presentation of film tourists in order to provide a comprehensive overview of the topic. The focus of my thesis is the relationship between Harry Potter and film tourism. In my research, I am looking for the answer to whether the film series and the film tourism it triggered are still popular after more than 20 years, and whether travelers feel motivated to visit and see these Harry Potter-related filming locations, theme parks and exhibitions. The collection of filming locations related to Harry Potter, grouped by country, played a decisive role in my research, in order to get a more comprehensive picture of the tourism products based on the theme. In addition to the presentation of the filming locations, I dedicated a separate chapter to the theme parks that take advantage of the iconicity of the Harry Potter films and to the highly successful traveling exhibition. In order to make my thesis successful, it was also essential to use primary research, which allowed me to learn how people and travel agencies think about this topic. I sent the questionnaire I prepared to 300 people, and in this way, in my opinion, I sufficiently mapped out how people nowadays relate to Harry Potter and the film tourism associated with it. I conducted the interviews in order to gain insight into the experiences of travel agencies regarding the popularity and familiarity of Harry Potter-themed travel offers. In summary, it can be said that the Harry Potter film series and the film tourism based on it, as well as the tourist products that take advantage of its characteristics, are outstanding in today's tourism, and due to the diversity of the film series, it is almost certain that it will continue to benefit from its overwhelming success in the future, as there will always be fans who will visit the magical locations of their favorite movies as movie tourists.
