Absztrakt (kivonat)

My research is about the sexual abuse suffered by people with intellectual disability, and my goal was to study how they become victims, how does this affects them, and what can be done against it. For my research I've conducted an interview with a person with decades of experience and coded the interview using the practices of "Grounded theory". From my research I've found that people with intellectual disability do become victims, and there are multiple ways they can recieve help, but often reporting an incident falls to, themselves or their caretakers who do notunderstand what's happening,do not know their rights, and there for my conclusion was that perhaps it's best to create a sexeducation program, and that might help in a positive way, throughout their whole life.
