Absztrakt (kivonat)

My purpose in this essay was to gather information about families with disabled children: how can parents care about their child (or children), if he or she has a disablity (from birth, or anytime later), and how can teachers help these parents in their challange. I made two questionnaires – one for parents with 33 questions, and one for teachers with 29 – and I collected data about their relationships, communications and attitudes to each other, and to disabled children. I made a research in special teaching literature and I interviewed one of my colleagues in a special school, and a mother of a disabled child too. I asked them about their experiences to care for a child and help each other. Their answers inspirated me compose the questionnaires. In this manner I was able to collect a lot of data and information about their relationships, more than I could analyse. I tried to present a part of this in my essay, to brief teachers who work with disabled children, how can they care about parents and their disabled sons and daugthers.
